Carbon Monoxide

Can carbon monoxide be formed without the process of incomplete combustion?

Yes
carbon and carbon dioxide can be converted into carbon monoxide reversibly under high temperature
high concentrated sulfuric acid can absorb water from formic acid or oxalic acid, while CO is released

My friend was telling me that CO is only formed by Incomplete C. and i just didnt believe her. So now i can go tell her the truth!
