Hey all,
I hve 2 do this chemisty project, and I was given sum recipe:
1/2 cup sugar/1/2cup brown sugar, 1 1/3 stick margarin, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 cup flour, 1 1/3 cup choc chips (this is supposed to yield 24 cookies)
The question is, "suppose you increased everything so you now have":
12 eggs, 24 tsp vnilla, 1 lb salt, 1 lb baking soda, 3 cups choc chips, 5 lb sugar, 2 lb brown sugar, 1 lb margarine
so how am i suposed to figure out how many cookies their are now? i guess its somethin about figureing out limiting reactants??
then the next questions is "what is the maximum number of cookies produced from the recipe" but isnt dat the same as "howw many cookies if the recipe is increased porportionately for 12 eggs"??
please help i would appreciete it! i did try, for a while, but i still do'nt understand how to go about solving this..do i need some sort of equation?? and how am i suposed to figure out which reactants yeild the most cookies and which yeild the least?
