Unit conversion help
« on: January 16, 2008, 03:45:15 PM »
A rectangular solid measures 1.0m by 5.6cm by 2.1dm. Express its volume in cubic meters, liters, cubic inches, and cubic feet.

I got the cubic meters, and liters, but i am having trouble with the cubic inches and cubic feet.

For cubic inches, i am converting the three given measurements to cm and getting 12000cm^3, and i am stuck from there trying to convert to cubic inches. Same goes for the cubic feet.

Help would be appreciated.

Convert your three given measurements to inches and just multiply them together (LxWxH=V). And then to feet and do the same.
