Quick question about double bonds?

Are Sigma Bonds always present in double bonds? I am pretty sure they are but it would be nice to get some conformation. Thanks

I would say so, but there may be some strange example in inorganic chemistry where you have a double bond without a sigma bond.

So if i was dealing with organic chemistry then it would be a safe bet that all double bonds have a sigma bonds?
