protecting group

im using protecting group, AC2O for protecting of carboxylic groups in 2,6 dichloropyridine-4-carboxylic acid. i dont know the reaction condiditons and  how much AC2O will need for 100mg of 2,6dichloropyridine 4 carboxylic acid..

and full reaction mechanims as well

if anybody have idea plz reply me

Mixed anhydride is rather an activating group

is that means -COOH will not be protected but activated and i will loose cooh group.

Mixed anhydrides are used in synthesis of many compounds, eg esters or  peptides.
