I know that this is 4'-methoxyacetophenone.
How would adding to methyl groups to the methyl carbon change the name?
I am trying to synthesize this molecule. I will be using a methoxybenzene and isobutyryl chloride and use Friedel-Crafts reaction.

Would it be 4'-methoxy-isobutyrophenone?

Chemdraw says 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-methylpropan-1-one.

Would adding the two methyl groups affect the procedure greatly from the 4'-methoxyacetophenone?

No but you would have decreased solubility in polar solvents with a para positioned alkyl. All that is left is to try the reaction.
