CH4COOH + NaOH -> NaCH3COOH + H2O.

CH4COOH can't exist.  Did you mean CH3COOH?

Do you know what chemical CH3COOH is?  Or what kind of functionality it has?  What chapter of your book did this question come from (or what were you covering in class when this problem was assigned?)

You have the right idea.  You'll get water as one product and sodium attached to the other molecule.
Knowing why you got a question wrong is better than knowing that you got a question right.
