Dear all,

I have a question regarding organic contamination and would like to seek some advice in it~

If I accidentally pour some PCB into the sea, or pour some PAH into the sea, what will be the dfference in the handling of this issue?

As I know both of these chemical is persistent, but I cannot find many differences in there degradation rate, bioaccumulation rate....so will these two occassion have the same handling procedure?or it will be different?

The problem with your question, as asked, is that there is little we can do with the "sea", presumably you mean the world's oceans.  They're very large, and well mixed.  Now, if you look at the laws regarding releases into rivers, then you'll find a better source of rules and stipulations.

thanks for your reply, while if the case isn't por in the ocean, might be pour in the fish farm, with limited mixing, would it be some different?
