Well, I noticed it, but was expecting an announcement from "da management" explaining why it was the next new big thing - although now I look into it, it's about 3 years old, so ancient ;)

Seems a bit limited if the Wiki page is right, as you can't import Scifinder into it, which is a possible drawback as far as I'm concerned, though I suppose you can convert Scifinder format into something else in situ, and then into Connotea?

it sure does seem a handy thing to use.
At the moment I always download the papers I used, store them (named to the author) in a certain map and then after a while I cant find it back ??? haha

it sure does look great, maybe I should try it.

This brings me to the next questions: do you guys have easy acces to all the scientific searchengines with the researchpapers?
What databanks do you guys use anyway?

I'm sorry, but what is it?  A registration-only wiki?  Do I need credentials to post, or what?  The name just left me confused, and the description on the homepage, or here for that matter, isn't really clear. And this sub-board, what does it do, are we supposed to mention our latest posts, or what?  Like everyone else, I was waiting for someone else to bring up the subject. :)

The forum is a placeholder, as I finish working with a new website that utilizes the Connotea database but makes it more user friendly. You can see what I'm working with here: http://www.hotcites.com The website is in no way finished, but progress is made daily.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Ah, thanks Mitch, and yes, that does look pretty exciting, even from your limited example.  I'm looking forward to it.
