hai friends,
    can any one tell , what are the factors influencing the separation factor of pervaporation?
 and also one small question. can the performance of pervaporation increases with the thickness of the membrane.

Hi coolsuman,

There are quite a few, and I will list the factors which immediately come to mind:

Temperature
Pressure
Feed Rate
Membrane type (hydrophobic/hydrophilic and variations of these two)
Surface Area
Concentrations
