organometallic complexes
« on: March 23, 2008, 09:18:41 PM »
When we compare main group organometallic complexes with transition metal
organometallics we find that alkyl complexes are common to both, but that n^2-alkenes and n^2-
alkynes are not found for the main group.

Why ???

probably because they bond to d-orbitals
