Hess's Law Problem

Problem

Result= 2C + 3H2 Yields C2 H6

Three equations

CO2 Yields C + O2            1549.4

H2O Yields H2 +1/2 O2        1125.2

2CO2 +3H2O Yields C2H6 +1/2 O2    6144.4

Need to know steps

I know how Hess law works but dont understand how to change 1/2 of compounds. Can someone please help show me the steps to this problem so I can see how it works.

The equation is not balanced correctly! I guess you can solve after you get the right balanced equation.
