Energy Levels?
« on: May 05, 2008, 09:04:44 PM »
So I have a Final in Chemistry tomorrow.
Ok this is a easy concept I just forgot it.
A principle energy level is like n= 1
Whats a sub energy level? s, p, d, and f?
And when n=0 that is the ground state? Is that also s?
Does n=2 equal the p orbitals?
Im not geting n= X?
Can someone explain?
