Number of compounds
« on: May 11, 2008, 04:26:55 PM »
The question is to estimate the number of compounds in the samples. We are suppose to plot the absorbance vs wavelength using the data for 20 samples. I plot it, but what does the number of compounds mean?

Help please

What compounds? what type of samples?

You're not exactly giving us a lot to work with here.

Have you been given any other data on the compounds (or a way to reference) lambda(max) for example?

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
