Quantification of Peptides with MS
« on: May 20, 2008, 01:32:27 PM »
Hi folks,

I had a protein which was treated with an amino-group-protection reagent (FMOC-derivative). After pepsin digestion i first seperated all the peptides which were protected (HPLC) and analyzed those peptides
with MS/MS.
Now i'm looking for a method for quantifying those peptides...

I read about isotopic-labeling....is that the only way how it could be done ? (get isotopic labeled peptides which got the same aa-sequence like my sample peptides and co-measure them ..)

Thx for  any suggestions !
