molality problem

The density of a 1.83 M aqueous solution of methanol is 0.976 g/mL. The molar mass of the solute is 32.04 g/mol. What is the molality of the solution?

i know that molality= moles of solute/ kg of solvent

i did 1.83 moles/0.976, which gave me 1.875

I'm wondering am i doing this right. Can someone help me

Start with 1 L of solution.

How many moles of methanol does it contain? What is its mass?

What is solution mass?

How much of that is water?
