Well I am not exactly sure where to post this, on here let alone the internet but I don't understand a word that is being said on this site so that must mean I am going in the right direction right?
Just Kidding but seriously, I am not a chemist and I have never taken a chemistry class in my life, so if when you ask me questions and give me answers if you could dumb it down to Lisa Simpson levels that would be awesome.
So my question is this.
I am looking for some type of epoxy resin(don't even know if thats the industry term for it but I am a car guy) That is kind of like what is used in fiberglass and bondo work. Something that is in gel form but when a hardener is added to it, it becomes hard.
Now here is the hard part I think.
I need something that is already being produced, and can withstand temperatures seen in powder coating,(the ovens get to about 425*F)so something that can goto 500*F would be awesome.
As far as strength goes, I am not too terribly worried about it, It will not be used for anything structural, but being able to withstand driving vibrations, and other commonly seen automotive abuse would be a good thing.
Maybe around the strength of JB Weld or something similar.

I posted the Wiki for these two things so maybe you can take a look at what is used to make both products and help me along, honestly I would need something closer to what is used in bondo, but I plan on using my own filler and will not be needing a pigment I do not think.
I am sorry if this is not what is normally posted here, but I have tried other automotive forums and places on the net and people said I needed to talk to a chemist.
