Discussion on Web 2.0 and science on the Nature Network
« on: July 03, 2008, 11:18:42 AM »
Hello All,

Here is a link to the forum: Scientific Researchers and Web 2.0: Social Not Working? http://network.nature.com/london/group/socialnotworking

In a recent topic, a question was raised regarding the influence of infiltration of web 2.0 with stealth advertising. It can be found here:

I am sure that many of you will have valuable opinions on this (and other of the topics) as chemistry seems to have examples of some of the best blogs and forum resources. In the face of an opinion that social is not working, it would be great for this to be balanced by "how we make it work" as well as how the important problems can be dealt with.

There is no problem involved in becoming your own father or mother that a broadminded and well-adjusted family can't cope with. -Douglas Adams

I blog here and have started a collection of "protocols in boxes".

I work at Nature Protocols.
