For all of these, you should start by finding the molar mass of each of the compounds.

Do you know the formula for molarity?

Do you know the formula for converting grams to moles?

Give one or two of these a try and post your results.

what mass of HCl is contained in 645 mL of 0.266 M solution?

Hi...
First, I would convert 645mL to liters - (645mL/1000mL = 0.645L)
Second, I would convert liters to moles - (0.645L X 0.266M = 0.172mol)
Lastly, I would use moles to find the mass of HCl - (0.172mol X 36.5g/mol HCl = 6.28g HCl)

The answer should be close...I think connecting all those calculations together will lead to a better sig. fig.
