Limitations and Uncertanties
« on: July 29, 2008, 10:03:08 AM »
Hey guys, was just wondering if you could give me a broad, very general overview of some examples of limitations and uncertainties (eg. Not using the same number of mole of a substance in each test). Ive got a prac in the next few days and i need to no some general examples so i can apply them to this.

Thanks

Would only matter if the reaction was mol dependent. Some reactions are harder to scale-up, depends exactly what you're looking for here.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Hi Sanado,
Another general example of that is using an orange flame and a concentrated blue flame on test tubes when heating a certain kind of solution during an experiment.
Other general examples of that can be measurement, calculation, amount, and apparatus dependent.
