I am trying to calculate the concentration of my starting material in an nmr tube by using a capillary standard (.075 ml of tertbutylmethyl ether). the total volume in the tube is .5 ml. i calibrated the methyl group to 1.000 and the integration for my starting material is .023. the methyl group of course is represented by three protons and my product is two protons. both are singlets but i dont think that is necessary. anybody have any suggestions on how to get the final concentration of my starting material?
