Am I a sick person if I get aroused by these pictures?  ;)

I think Mitch should use his Berkley status and Nuclear Chemistry pedigree and somehow setup a tour for those at Chemical Forums to visit the Large Hadron Collider. I mean, everybody would have to pay their own fare and such, but I highly doubt if I sent them an e-mail and said "can I come by and visit" that they would let me.

particle physics remains one of the most over-rated sciences out there.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

I'd be interested for sure.   Has your link broken or is my PC playing up  - I can't open it.   Doesn't really matter as I've seen pic's of it before - quite impressive.

Scale of the thing is overwhelming.

I'd say whelming, but not necessarily 'over'.  ;D   Have you ever been inside a power station?

Tonight I’m going to party like it’s on sale for $19.99!

The hadron collider was a topic for an in-class discussion.

Somebody misinterpreted the d and the r, switched places and got a quite funny name.
