bromine substitution
« on: August 04, 2008, 06:04:45 PM »
hey

Im working on a synthesis and i am stuck on 1 part.  Is there anyway to replace bromine on a cyclic molecule with a ketone or an alcohol.  And if its possible what are the reagents needed.  Or is there any way to replace the same bromine with a hydrogen?  Thanks
