sunblock properties of a compound, dibenzalacetone

What properties are valuable in a compound for use as a sunscreen such as in dibenzalacetone?

Sunblock works by using compounds that absorb the UV light (those wavelengths) that is harmful to the skin.  Google "how sunblock works" or "sunscreen dibenzylacetone"
