Does Cu react with conc. H2SO4 without heat?

As title says.

The question asked for uses of H2SO4 as a dehydrating agent and an oxidising agent. I lost a mark for not mentioning heat. I still wrote the redox equations though.

Does Cu react with conc. H2SO4 without heat?

As far as I remember - no, you need a hot acid for that.

Doesn't nitric acid react with copper at room temperature?
