Well, I mean a person could use hypens and equal signs. But that would only get so far. I know that certain chemistry programs will allow a person to output in tex formation. But I don't think this forum would accept the format.

Simply you can use a free molecular-drawing software and export the documents in an image format (JPG, PNG or what you prefer), then host and insert in your message the image needed. I do so and it works great

When I type:

and then click preview, it doesn't work???

In other forums I would type, say for an integral

[math] \int\frac{1}{1-x^2}dx[/math]

is there a pdf file with all of the commands?

Actually, it does seem to be working. When I clicked "preview' I got something else.
