Unique physical property of copper
« on: September 06, 2008, 11:19:13 AM »
This is a question for one of my labs. I would greatly appreciate any help. Copper has one physical property that only one other metal has. What is that property; whats the other metal?
The question goes further to ask: Where are these two metals located relative to each other in the periodic table? Thanks in advance!

I smell problems... I think I know what property person asking the question had on mind, but if so, it is not exactly true that only two metals share it.

Hopefully I am wrong.

That's my assumption. And I am thinking about 55, which is less known.

I am curious what might you guys be talking about. Cause of the top of my head, I can not think of a physical property shared by only Cu, Au and Cs.

If you know of any other metal that should be added - fire away.

No, I mean, I am not coming up with any 'physical' property that those share and others do not. I have on clue which physical property you guys are talking about! I guess I am just a tard'.

Think tint. And if you think this 'property' is stupid, I am with you. But I have no idea what else could it be and I doubt there are many properties on the HS level that we are not aware of.
