*HELP, Need help with pKa problem*
« on: September 19, 2008, 05:01:17 PM »
So I am really unsure howe to solve for this:
Calculate the ratio of HPO4 2-/H2PO4- (pK=6.7) at pH 5.7, 6.7 and 8.7.

also, if a weak acid is 91% neutralized at pH 5.7, what is the pKa of the acid?
I would love any feedback you have thx

This is all about using Henderson-Hasselbalch equation. Just write it down and check what you know and what you are looking for.
