Simple atom/element question
« on: September 21, 2008, 06:20:41 PM »
Hello,
This might be a silly question!
Is an atom the same as an element?
I would think the answer is no. right? elements are composed of atoms. It can't be the same.

Please let me know what is your answer.

Thanks

It is like asking if a sand grain and a desert are the same thing.
