At eqillibrium methane gas reacts with water vapour to produce carbon monoxide gas and Hydrogen gas, I would like to know how adding solid calcium chloride (reacts with water vapour) affects the equillibrium. I know that in an equillibrium equation solids are not included when the system is heterogeneous, but I'm wondering if it affects equillibrium because of something to do with saturation? Thanks for your help.
