Hi everybody...

Am the newest member on this place.Am a student of Computer Science and i have undertaken a project of Expert Systems which deals with the analysis of an unknown salts.This would be in a Q's and A's type and according to the data provided by user (Students) and it's own knowledge base will lead to the unknown salt.. I have some data with me.. but am not able to understand the logic.
Also i can't understand terms like amphoteric??
Could someone plz tell me the logic that should be implemented.
And how to go about all the testing too.
Any help will be helpful.

amphoteric...

refers to oxides that are have acidic and basic properties..

u shld go look around the forums for ppl who have asked abt QA problems in the past... u could get some insights on the methods used and the logic.
