If chlorine and oxygen gas come into contact as byproducts of electrolysis, can they react explosively?

I'm moderately sure O

are pretty unreactive with each other. H

Indeed, Oxygen and Chlorine gas are both oxidizers.

As these 2 substances are both oxidizers in the redox reactions and in general it is not probable to react one with the othe explosively. But they react forming Cl

O (a rather strange oxide: it forms HClO

with water).
