Well the directions for these problems is A. Give a balanced chemical equation and B. Give a net ionic equation

So:

Zine Acetate + Cesium Hydroxide
A. Zn(C2H3O2)2 + 2CsOH - >2Cs(C2H3O2) + Zn(OH)2
B. Zn2+ + 2OH- ->ZnOH2

am i right?

I keep getting mixed up between what gets removed from a net ionic equation and what stays.
But why wouldnt the net ionic equation be

(C2H3O2)- + Cs+ -> 2Cs(C2H302)

?

In the net ionic equation we remove spectator ions.
What is a spectator ion?
Which are spectator ions in your equation?
