Hi,

i want to synthesise alkylated thiophene, or bithiophene, using similar lithiation with BuLi. I've found some papers and procedures about it. Some people are making the lithiation @ 0^oC then adding alkylbromide. But there is diffrent technique, then lithiation is done @-78 oC. So does someone know the difference between these techniques?
