Calculating the Hydrogen capacity.
« on: December 08, 2008, 03:12:00 PM »
So, how do I know what's the Hydrogen (H2) capacity (V) if I pour 6,5g ZN with 200g 10% HCL leach (or liquor, call it however you like).

Help me on this please, thanks. :)

Most likely when you write "capacity" you mean "volume".

Strat with the reaction equation.

ok, so its Zn + 2HCL ---> ZnCL2 + H2
i know, that V = n * Vmol and 200g 10% is 20g. So HCL is 20g and Zn is 6,5g. What do I do now?
