Preperation of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts
« on: May 03, 2005, 02:59:03 AM »
Could someone guide me, as to preperation of Pd/Al2O3 supported catalyst? I need some for an experiment utillising a hydrogenation rxn, but a small amount of Pd/alumina catalyst is needed for the process to proceed.

Hydrogenation reactions really aren't my usual "thing" if you get me, but I am currently working on the selective hydrogenation of maleic anhydride for a project of mine, which utillises Pd/Al2O3, soaked in liquified butane as a catalyst.
