Chemistry is the subject i find fascinating and i love talking about it.  Its very interesting seeing peoples opinions on questions and seeing some of the problems people come up against.  I have toyed with the idea of becoming a chemistry teacher and i find this web site to be a very useful tool in seeing how people help others.

Mainly its about chatting to people who like chemistry as much as i do!

Well initially I joined the forum because I needed help with an organic lab write-up. But since I'm here, it'd be nice to return the favor, and help anyone I can. Plus, it really does help bring back some of the chemistry which I may have (and likely have) forgotten over the past few years.

This is an interesting thread. In fact, I wonder about this myself every time I get a kind response on this forum. I am only a general chemistry student and not a very good one, either, so I can't really return any favor. However I sincerely thank every person who took the time to answer my questions and explained the concepts to me. It's really nice of you. I find myself spending more and more time on this forum, and I am even starting to feel a little sad that this semester is almost over because I probably won't take any chemistry classes after this year. But...oh well! I can always study my chemistry textbook by myself, and in that way, be a chem student forever ;)

I wish there were more industry related topics.

I feel like students try to find an easy way out of their homework.

They always do. Our job is to not give them straight answers ;)
