How hard to get in Grad school ?
« on: February 14, 2009, 03:51:07 AM »
I have a BS in ChE from Purdue (1994) with a 3.6 GPA.  I have worked as a chemist then chemical engineer in industry since then.   With the economy gone south instead of waiting to get laid off I am considering going back to school to work toward a PhD.  What are the odds of me getting accepted to a decent school?  First choice would be the Purdue Medicinal Chemistry.

Thanks.

They're excellent odds, especially since (I'm assuming) you're domestic. I don't think the time in industry will hurt you.
