Which structure is most stable of the C4H8O isomer shown.

Which structure is the most stable of the C4H8O isomers shown.

a. 1
b. 2
c. 3
d. 4

Can anyone help me with stability.
I would have to conclude after drawing each isomer out, that either 1 or 4 is most stable, however can anyone give me some guidance.

What reasoning did you use?  I'm not sure why you would choose 1 over 2.  At any rate, you should read this.

there are at least three more constitutional isomers you're missing.   I think the most stable is in the list you've drawn, but fyi there are at least 3 more.

Enols are rarely the most stable isomer of an aldehyde or ketone
