ok so we did a lab in class today and we have a quiz on this lab next week and i must understand!!!!
the first thing we did was the effect of temperature on rate of reaction. So we did the lab and recorded the necessary data. And we are supposed to graph temperature vs time and temperature vs reciprocal of time. So i did.
I dont understand what the relationship between the two graphs are. What does temperature graph vs reciprocating the time mean? like why the recriprocal?

If i wanted to calculate how many degrees it takes to double the reaction time, how do i calculate it?(using my graph)

greatly appreciated if anyone can give me some help or tip on this.

Huh? Plottng temperature against time? What is the point there because as time passes you can adjust the temperature higher or lower, it isn't even a variable to begin with. Generally, every increase in ~10 degree celcius doubles the reaction rate. But this don't always happen though. Also if your reaction is first order, perhaps reciprocating time is plotting against rate constant since the unit is 1/s.
