*delete me* buffer solution problem!
«

This problem has been driving me crazy:
What volumes of 0.59 M HNO2 and 0.60 M NaNO2 must be mixed to prepare 1.00 L of a solution buffered at pH = 3.64?
I know you have to use the henderson hasselbalch equation, but i can't get the pka!
Thanks

Is it not in your book? Some back pages, cover?
Is it not in books in your school library? CRC Handbok or something? Ask librarian if in doubt.
Is it not in wikipedia?

says, you will need to look up the constant. Funny, didn't this forum used to have a link on a sidebar on the first page to just such a table?

Yep, we had such links. Unfortunately, they didn't survive latest server move. And with Mitch finishing his PhD I doubt he has time for such details
