Iron oxidation
« on: March 24, 2009, 07:22:22 PM »
If iron is put into a bottle of salt water the iron will oxidate. How will the PH in the water develop as a concequence of the oxidation, assuming that the water remains unchanged.

If the iron is oxidated that means the solution will turn acidic, and the pH will be less than 7
