can anyone tell me how figure out how much chloride is in sodium chloride?

if there is a known quantity of sodium in mg, how do you calculate the quantity of chloride in mg in sodium chloride in a given amount?

mg Chloride = mg NaCl - mg Na

You need to use information given by formula and molar masses of chlorine and sodium chloride.
