Information needed on the pKa of urea hydrogen peroxide
« on: May 08, 2009, 01:25:26 PM »
I am having difficulty finding out what the pKa of the hydrogen peroxide in the adducted, more stable compound, urea hydrogen peroxide (also known as carbamide peroxide) is. I do know that the pKa of hydrogen peroxide is around 11.6 but I am assuming that when this compound is adducted with urea, it must change even if it's a slight change.

Would anyone have any info on this? Much appreciated, thanks.
