I am just wondering... if a molecule's name has both E/Z and R/S specifications, which would come first?

For example:

(1R,2R)-(3E)-2-methyl-3-hexen-1-ol
OR
(3E)-(1R,2R)-2-methyl-3-hexen-1-ol?

I think the E/Z descriptors come first. See, e.g. http://goldbook.iupac.org/ or similar. Are you sure about that name, or have you just made it up to show a point, as it seems wrong?

I actually made up the name, so it's likely that it doesn't make much sense. Thank you though!

Yeah my Professor said to put isomerism before chirality (E,Z)... btw yeah, there is no stereocenter at (1R) in your molecule XD
