Inexpensive DIY Lab
« on: June 11, 2009, 12:28:26 AM »
Hi,

I have been keep a blog on building a DIY lab using as many recycled materials as possible, thus I am able to build my lab inexpensively. I created the blog for myself to keep some sort of notes, but friends kept telling me let others know it could be useful to them.

You can find it here:

Enjoy and let me know what you think. If you have any more ideas let me know and I will try to build, test and post it.

Thanks,

Lawrence

In the big picture of your lab what is the device next to the microscope that  has a bubble over it.

Thanks and you are welcome,

That device is the DNA discovery kit (from the discovery channel website) I found at a flea market. It is exactly like the CSI DNA Laboratory kit. I need to post this on the blog with a couple of other kits(crystal growing kits) I found. Plus some other additions such as the incubator, sterile transfer chamber and power supply.
