Good idea in practice, but would it not rely on people returning after posts to annotate them appropriately? Or would it be a case of if you build it, they will come? Sadly I think many here are just here for quick answers and not appreciative of the Socratic method, so you end up with many dead posts like

Perhaps we should revisit questions that have had prods and then answer them more fully, but how long after the OP - a week? month? 3 months?
