themodynamic determine the enthalpy
« on: July 17, 2009, 03:22:09 PM »
Given that water inlet 15celcius at 300Kpa and the water outlet is 25celsius at 300Kpa .it is a steady flow process.

The enthalpy of inlet = 62.982 kj/kg
the enthalpy of outlet = 104.83 kj/kg

this enthalpy is determine by approximating the compressed liquid as a saturated liquid at the given temperature.

HOW can we approximating a compress liquid enthalpy as a saturated water enthalpy. WHY? i don't understand WHY the value of enthalpy can be determined by just an assumption of approximating , any1 can clarify my doubt PLS
