I've been studying an organic book over the summer before actually taking organic chemistry and I just arrived on the e1 / e2 mechanism chapter. the problem is that the book wants me to get all the information from my class notes and I obviously don't have any at this point, lol.

so my question is:

what constitutes an e1 / e2 mechanism
is there a good website to find a basic e1 and e2 mechanism just to get me on my feet.

First part is true, but for the second statement, you are thinking of SN2.
