« on: August 10, 2009, 02:49:41 AM »

I know how to calculate the mass using mol and molar mass but these questions got me stuck .. i know they are probably extremely easy or something but i just cant figure out how to do it.

Questions

1.   Find the mass of hydrogen chloride (gas) that is found in 5ml of hydrochloric acid.

2.   Find the mass of hydrogen sulfate that is found in sulfuric acid.

You do not have, or have not provided, sufficient information to answer these questions.

1. What is the concentration of the hydrochloric acid you are considering? What unit is concentration measured in?

2. You are not given, or have not provided, any information about the quantity of sulphuric acid. This is doubly impossible. There is no such substance "hydrogen sulphate" separate from sulphuric acid.

Please quote in a post on this thread the original questions word-for-word.
